Ceres Media has restructured and split into two separate divisions: Natural AdCampaign Print will continue to focus on the large-format printing industry marketing various products under the NatureWoven and TierraFilm brands; and NAC Industrial Products will market new NatureFloor products into the construction and plumbing and heating markets.

A DuPont LifeCycle Based Solutions programme means retailers can recycle entire Tyvek and Tyvek Vivia displays. To complete the lifecycle of the Tyvek products, DuPont has partnered with Waste Management in the US to create a recycling kit and programme that sees banners recycled and reprocessed into resin, which is then repurposed for a variety of uses.

The latest BPIF ‘Printing Outlook’ report shows that activity within the UK print trade was more buoyant than expected during the second quarter of 2013. The July survey showed that whilst a majority of 53% of companies reported no change in demand levels more than a quarter (28%) said that the volume of domestic orders had improved. This outweighed a figure of 19% that suffered deterioration and also exceeded expectations from last quarter.

This year’s Print Futures Awards, boosted by a £30,000 cash injection from The Printing Charity, attracted a record number of applications and winners.
