Ipex 2014 has taken another blow with Heidelberg saying it will not exhibit. The news comes just weeks after HP said it had made a decision not to exhibit at the show.

Canon company Océ has brought out new eco-solvent printers known as the CS9300 Series. This comprises the CS9360 64in machine - which was previewed at Fespa Digital earlier this year - and the CS9350 54in unit. They are based on the CS9160 and Océ CS9050 respectively but are significantly faster. With a speed of up to 29 m²/hr the CS9360 model is 60% percent faster than the CS9160 printer and at up to 27.9 m²/hr the new CS9350 nearly twice the print speed of the CS9050.

The Print and Innovation Theatre, sponsored by Canon, is one of six free seminar theatres at Cross Media 2012 (3-4 September 2012, Business Design Centre, London).
