Memjet has reached an agreement that it said clears the way for the continued commercialisation of its colour inkjet printing technology.

At Drupa, where Durst is introducing its Rho P10 Series 10 picolitre UV inkjet printers, visitors can also see other interesting new automation advances in regards to the Rho family of printers.

Consultancy Material Connexion, which provides manufacturers and users with a cross-industry overview of trends, material developments and their application possibilities, has included Neschen’s digitally printable Erfurt wallpaper CA into its materials library.

UV curing systems developer, Integration Technology Limited (ITL) has published 150-page guide to UV LED technology. ‘The UV LED Handbook’ spans the basics of UV curing and UV chemistry, to health and safety, system integration, LED measurement, costs and economics. The book also features chapters on the evolution and history of LEDs, how an LED works, and how UV LEDs are manufactured.

The theme of this year’s IPIA Conference is ‘Don't sit down - I've moved your chair’ and deals with adapting to, and profiting from change. Attendees at the event, which takes place on 13 June at the De Vere Oulton Hall Hotel, near Leeds, will hear from a range of speakers from both inside and outside the industry on how to regard change as an opportunity, not a threat and how to harness the power of change to drive profitability.

Mimaki will introduce the JFX500-2131 high-speed UV-LED flatbed inkjet printer at Drupa this week. It will take centre stage alongside its new JV400-LX latex ink printer and the new JV400-SUV solvent UV machine. The company will also showcase the Easy Direct Print System, an automatic misalignment adjustment system.
