Super early bird tickets have gone on sale for Fespa’s Wrap Fest at Silverstone on 3-4 October. The tickets - available until Saturday 15 June - cost £20 (£15 with a promo code ) going up to £45 onsite.

Elitron will unveil a new Kombo TAV at Drupa later this month. Re-designed electronics and new motion control system with faster communication protocol translate into a “+ 35% faster speed, + 40% greater production efficiency and -30% energy consumption, which all add up to place the Kombo TAV in a class of its own” according to Elitron America’s president Daniele Gallucci.

Mimaki is extending its carton ink cartridges programme - initially introduced to the Japanese market in May 2023, the global roll-out has now begun, with availability in the UK and Ireland expected later in the year.

Koehler Paper has teamed up with steel producer Badische Stahlwerke (BSW) and the Rhine port of Kehl to study the feasibility of harvesting wind energy at the port facilities. They hope to find out if building wind turbines is a feasible solution to suppling their own energy at the companies' sites in Kehl.

 

The BPIF’s Printing Outlook report for Q2 2024 shows that output and orders growth didn’t quite match the expectations for Q1, but that we have now had two consecutive quarters of growth, which is more than we have had since 2022.
