Halesowen-based Solutions Acrylic & Display says working with the expert team at Quality Print Services (QPS) has helped to significantly improve the quality of its printed output and take on new work as a result.
Working in the display market, on everything from acrylic retail displays and signage to large-format print jobs, attention to detail is critical for Solutions Acrylic & Display and its customers. Keen to strengthen its offering and ensure consistently high levels of print quality, the company originally reached out to the team at QPS for support in late 2017.
The main point of concern for Solutions Acrylic & Display was that it had run into supply problems with the inks it previously used on its second-hand Arizona 550GT flatbed printer. Straight away, the experts at QPS recommended Nazdar inks, explaining how these reliable products would ensure both accuracy and quality in all print jobs.
As an authorised supplier of Nazdar digital inkjet inks, QPS was able to advise Solutions Acrylic & Display throughout the process, with the company opting for Nazdar 290 Series ink for the Arizona 550GT.
Adam White, Marketing Manager at Solutions Acrylic & Display, says that since making the switch to QPS and Nazdar, the company has seen a huge improvement in print quality, while supply issues are now a thing of the past.
This close relationship has developed over the years to also cover other aspects of production, namely ongoing technical advice and support for the Arizona 550GT, with QPS constantly communicating with Solutions Acrylic & Display to ensure the printer is performing as it should.
"I have always found QPS to be very professional in how they operate," White said. "If we ever have a problem with the machine or need to order some last-minute ink, they always go the extra mile to help.
"This has helped hugely; our customers demand tight delivery times, so having our machine up and running and QPS being there quickly when we need an engineer, helps us with our production times and, at the end of the day, keeps our customers happy."
As to how this has impacted production at Solutions Acrylic & Display, White says the fact that the machine is now running well, with very little downtime, coupled with the quality and reliability of the Nazdar inks, the company has seen a significant upturn in demand for work.
"We have always found Nazdar inks to be exceptional," White said. "We've never had any problems either using UV ink or eco-solvent from Nazdar, and we can always rely on their inks for quality results.
"We have won a lot of new work off the back of having our Arizona, and much of this has been down to the output we have been able to produce using the excellent Nazdar 290 Series inks, all safe in the knowledge that if we have any issues, QPS are just a phone call away."
Looking ahead to the future, White says the strength of the Solutions Acrylic & Display production portfolio, coupled with specialist support from QPS, means the company will explore more growth opportunities in 2021, highlighting retail's return after Covid-19 as a key focus.
"We are always looking for new markets that we can get into as everyone is aware the retail sector is being pushed more than ever," he said. "However, we are still supporting some of the very successful retail companies out there and look forward to working more closely with them in 2021."
