Putting out the flag for England

Northern Flags and sister company FaberExposize UK have made a big statement in their support for the England men's football team by unveiling the largest environmentally sustainable banner in the country.

Measuring 9m x 3m, the banner was made from 346 recycled plastic bottles and is 100% recyclable. Printed and installed in advance of England’s crucial Euro 2020 semi final against Denmark last night, the business hoped to inspire the team with a good luck message!

Ahead of the England win Iain Clasper-Cotte, MD of Northern Flags and FaberExposize UK, said: “Even as a Scot, I recognise how much it would mean to the country if England were to bring football home, so we’ve decided to show our support by printing the biggest eco friendly England banner in the country!

“Environmental sustainability is a core value of our business but we’re seeing more and more how much it means to all of our customers too. In that respect, support for green products is like support for the England football team. Hopefully after football comes home, England can become the home of environmental sustainability.”
