Innotech accredited Living Wage Employer

Innotech has been accredited a Living Wage Employer having committed to a minimum hourly wage of £10.90 per hour for UK staff, higher than the government minimum for over 23s which currently stands at £10.42 per hour.

Since 2011 the Living Wage movement has delivered a pay rise to over 450,000 people and put over £2bn extra into the pockets of low-paid workers. Innotech is based in the East Midlands, a region where over 13.3% of workers earn less than they need to get by, with over 251,000 jobs paying less than the Living Wage.

Derek Shedden, MD at Innotech, said: “We wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for our people, and our remuneration policy has always been underpinned by the belief that fair pay always shows in our results through a loyal, motivated and positive workforce.”

Katherine Chapman, director, Living Wage Foundation, added: “We’re delighted that Innotech has joined the movement of over 12,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on.
