Mimaki’s exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland, Hybrid Services, has announced a UV print-and-cut solution comprising the JFX600-2531 large-format flatbed UV printer and the CFX-2531 flatbed cutter. They will be demonstrated together for the first time at the Mimaki Experience Centre in Amsterdam during Fespa Global 2024.
The new Mimaki JFX600-2531 follows the launch of the JFX600-2513 in 2021. It offers the same levels of productivity, maximum resolution of 1,200dpi, and 2.5D printing function, but it has a bigger bed size of 3.1m.
Mimaki has also optimised the ‘Toggle Print Function’ for the JFX600-2531, which allows for automatic, consecutive printing at the front and rear of the print bed.
The CFX-2531 has a cutting area of 3,190mm x 2,540mm, and can be operated from the front and rear of the table, increasing productivity by simultaneously loading two 8’ x 4’ sheets. Included is a table plane tracking function. In addition, the cutter can be equipped with up to four types of tools at once.
The CFX-2531 forms part of Mimaki’s new CFX Series, which also includes two additional models - the CFX-2513 and the CFX-2550 - with a print table of 1,300mm x 2,540mm and 5,080mm x 2,540mm respectively.
