Océ Arizona 480 GT launches at SGIA show

Making its debut at the SGIA show in the US is the Océ Arizona 480 GT printer that includes features designed to increase throughput and broaden the range of possible applications.

Using the same Océ VariaDot imaging technology other Arizona printers, new features include: eight independent ink channels with support for varnish or double-opacity white ink printing, including additional cyan and magenta channels; Active pixel placement compensation for optimum image sharpness, density and uniformity over the entire print area (flatbed or across the Roll Media Option); a vacuum system configured to match the majority of standard-sized graphic arts media; and Batch mode operation for streamlining multi-layered jobs or facilitating set collation.

The Océ Arizona 480 GT printer offers the standard table size of 1.25 x 2.5 meters while the Océ Arizona 480 XT has an extra large table size of 2.5 x 3.05 meters. Both can print on rigid media up to 50.8mm thick. A Roll Media Option is available for both models to print on flexible media up to 2.2m wide. Print speeds are up to 25.3m2/hr.
