Colour measuring instrument manufacturer Techkon has a new generation of the SpectroDens handheld spectro-densitometers.
Beside the colour display, which shows the measured hue of the ink, SpectroDens has a scan function. Single measurements are done within a second.
By using the latest LED technology, the instrument fulfills the requirements of ISO 13655 and offers the measuring conditions M0 – M3 for a better judgment of printing substrates with optical brightener agents (OBA). In addition the instrument can be equipped with a WiFi board to transfer all measured data wirelessly.
The Basic model is equipped with all densitometric functions. The Advanced version will also check spot colours and SpectroDens Premium is a full range spectrophotometer with specialist functions. The Advanced and Premium models include a large colour library with standard colour books of special colours and PSO/ISO/Fogra/G7 reference values.
