PressOn director Andy Wilson disagrees with BPIF

PressOn director Andy Wilson thinks the BPIF has got it wrong when it comes its stance with Creditsafe over the latter’s amended credit ratings model (http://www.imagereportsmag.co.uk/news/4-wide-format-news/5488-bpif-voices-concerns-to-creditsafe-).

“I totally disagree with the BPIF stance on Creditsafe and impact on UK print companies,” he told Image Reports. “My score has slipped slightly, as has many of my competitors’ in line with the new rating system. I don’t have a problem with this.

“What Dale Wallis fails to understand and has completely overlooked is whether 60 days is agreed or not, why does that company need 60 days to pay? Why would any company of sound financial standing need 2 months to pay its suppliers?

“Everyone in the industry hates the fact we get paid late so if Creditsafe is now going to see this as a weakness and give companies that pay within 30 days better credit score surely that’s the best thing that’s happened to this industry, if not the entire British economy on a decade?”
