RedTie founder appointed IPIA interim CEO

The IPIA has appointed W2P software company RedTie founder Marian Stefani as interim CEO following the departure of Andrew Pearce who has managed the association for the past eight years.

We were concerned that finding the right person to take over from Andrew would be very difficult as he has been the face of the organisation for so long,” said Kath Doran, Chair of the IPIA. “So we decided to take some time to review the role we need filled and to develop a long term strategic plan for the association.”

The IPIA, established in 1990, is celebrating 25 years of bringing trade buyers and suppliers together. Stefani said of her new role there: “I am excited to be working with such an iconic association. I love the print industry and believe that the IPIA has a unique opportunity to bring buyers and suppliers together and educate our consumers in marketing departments and in all areas of business to understand the fantastic solutions we offer as an industry.”

The next events taking place are the IPIA Spring Networking Lunch at the Bank Restaurant in Birmingham on the 20 March and the 6th Annual Innovations Conference on 16 April at Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire. Non-members as well as members are able to attend.
