EFI Reggiani shows ReNoir Next printer

At Itma, the first dedicated textile exhibition since EFI’s acquisition of Reggiani, the company is showcasing the new ReNoir Next 1.8m beltless digital system that prints onto fabrics and paper using the same inkset.

DuPont Digital Printing and EFI Reggiani are together also introducing the DuPont Artistri PK2600 digital textile pigment ink for the ReNoir digital textile printer range. The ink, which requires no steaming or washing production steps. has been developed for cotton textile roll-to-roll printing, intending a performance comparable to reactive ink results.

Ted Zhi, textile market segment leader, DuPont Digital Printing, said: "We expect the new Artistri PK2600 inks and the innovative printing process developed by EFI Reggiani will considerably enhance the role of pigment inks for high-speed digital printing applications in the future."
