Lintec introduces 80% recycled PoP film

Lintec Europe will use Fespa 2018 to raise awareness of sustainable manufacturing practices within the graphic, print and visual communication industries. To that end it will show off Re-Pop RE505S Recycled, the company’s first film to be manufactured with a minimum of 80% recycled PET material. The clear, lightweight, dry apply film is aimed at the POS and retail markets for short-term promotional campaigns.
Andy Voss, MD, said: "The pace of change within the signage and wide-format industries continues to accelerate. Sustainability and environmentally friendly practices are topics of great interest, a trend that is no doubt being driven by an increased awareness and a desire to 'go green'. As a result, businesses are becoming more environmentally conscious and a growing number of customers are requesting more eco-friendly substrates. Re-Pop is one of these products." A non-PVC dry apply adhesive, 50-micron polyester film, Re-Pop RE505S Recycled has a paper release liner that allows it to be used with UV digital, screen and litho print.
