Lintec Europe will use Fespa 2018 to raise awareness of sustainable manufacturing practices within the graphic, print and visual communication industries. To that end it will show off Re-Pop RE505S Recycled, the company’s first film to be manufactured with a minimum of 80% recycled PET material. The clear, lightweight, dry apply film is aimed at the POS and retail markets for short-term promotional campaigns.
Andy Voss, MD, said: "The pace of change within the signage and wide-format industries continues to accelerate. Sustainability and environmentally friendly practices are topics of great interest, a trend that is no doubt being driven by an increased awareness and a desire to 'go green'. As a result, businesses are becoming more environmentally conscious and a growing number of customers are requesting more eco-friendly substrates. Re-Pop is one of these products."
A non-PVC dry apply adhesive, 50-micron polyester film, Re-Pop RE505S Recycled has a paper release liner that allows it to be used with UV digital, screen and litho print.
