InPrint, the exhibition for industrial print technologies for manufacturing, has more than 40 new exhibitors for its second event which will take place 10-12 November 2015 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre. Some 150 exhibiting companies will showcase at the event sponsored by
Agfa Graphics, Encres Dubuit, Fraunhofer Institut, Heidelberg, Hinterkopf, IMI Europe, I.T Strategies, JetSet, Kuei, Machines Dubuit, Marabu, Mimaki, ThePackHub, Ricoh and Xaar.

Fespa has provided more detail on the new Industrial Showcase it recently announced for Fespa 2015. The feature will occupy 100m² in Hall 8, and is being promoted and delivered by Fespa in partnership with Esma (European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association) which will host 'lunch and learn' sessions.

Leeds-based ImageCo has undergone an MBO. Former production manager Simon Harrison and print manager Nathan Swinson-Bullough have bought the retail and exhibitions specialist from former joint managing directors Stephen Johnson, who has retired, and Brian Plows who will continue in the industry with his own agency.

The BPIF has issued a statement saying that while last week’s Budget Statement contains a number of longer-term promises there are relatively few immediate benefits for business. But, it said, there were some encouraging announcements, including a long-overdue review into business rates, a commitment to set the Annual Investment Allowance at an appropriate level at the Autumn Statement, and plans for improving access to R&D tax credits for smaller firms.

Initial results from the second ‘Drupa Global Trends’ report are showing sustained recovery from the recession. Werner Matthias Dornscheidt, chairman of the Messe Düsseldorf Management Board summarised the key results: "The generally upbeat picture surprised us. Both the print service providers and the international supplier industry gave a positive evaluation of the economic situation of their own companies as at October 2014. Even more surprising, however, was that the print and supplier industry is heading into 2015 with a very positive outlook.”

Drytac Europe has expanded its ReTac range of permanently peelable films for wall graphics.

The new additions to the line include ReTac75 Matte and ReTac150 Gloss. They sit alongside the existing ReTac75 Gloss film which was announced last year.

Screen will demonstrate the latest 150m2/hr Truepress Jet W3200HS UV flatbed printer at Fespa 2015 in May, and show the new 3.2m wide roll-to-roll option for the Truepress Jet W3200UV.

Prior to the official UK launch scheduled for later this year, Roland DG is offering visitors to Sign and Digital UK 2015 a preview of its Texart CS-64 calender press, a partenr to its recently launched Texart RT-640 dye-sublimation printer. The CS-64 will transfer sublimation print produced by the RT-640 at high speed onto a variety of polyester-based materials.

Letchworth-based display print specialist has bought a Ricoh Pro L4160 from Josero, a newly authorised wide-format dealer for a range of Ricoh products.
