InkTec to launch LXa5 at Fespa Global

InkTec will use Fespa Global (19-22 March, Amsterdam) to introduce the 2.5 x 1.3m flatbed LXa5 LED UV printer.

The new machine runs at up to 37m2/hr and uses Konica Minolta 6pl printheads delivering up to1440 x 726dpi. It can handle media up to 100mm thick, has pneumatic pin registration, and an anti-crash system to protect printheads.

The company also expects its XGR320 to draw the crowds to its stand. This 3.2m UV LED roll-to-roll printer uses Ricoh Gen6 printheads and has a top speed of 114m2/hr. It has multi-roll capability with wide double rollers both front and rear easily printing heavy rolls of media up to 200kgs.

InkTec MD Joey Kim said: “With Fespa’s theme being ‘Opportunities Revealed’, the exhibition is the ideal event to have the European launch of the Jetrix LXa5 printer. Positioned to appeal to those that are seeking to extend their wide format print offering or to potentially enter the sector for the first time, the printer totally reflects the overall sentiment of Fespa this year.”
