Atlantic (APS), a specialist insurer to the print and sign industries, has introduced Business Secure, a range of commercial combined insurance programmes for small to medium size businesses in the sectors.

The EDP Awards, which reward printer and associated manufacturers for innovation in their research and design, will be presented at Drupa on 8 May. Only products launched into the print industry in the 12 months leading to 28 February 2012 will be considered with the winners chosen by an international panel of independent print and print software experts.  The shortlist will be announced in April and the winners announced at the awards ceremony during Drupa.

A team of Fespa staff will embark on the second Wrap Rally journey on 12 February, this time from London to Barcelona. As the result of a joint venture between Freudenberg Evolon and Kernow Coatings, Evolon by Hydrosol and Evolon by HydroJet PVC-free textile substrates are now available in the UK from Amari Digital Supplies. They have been developed for two primary digital printing technologies, with the former designed for use with solvent, eco-solvent and UVC and latex inks and the latter designed for aqueous-based inks.
